Bath Assembly Rooms
Created for entertaining, the Bath Assembly Rooms offer an elegant and timeless location for your event or wedding. When completed for Georgian society entertaining, they were originally described as ‘the most noble and elegant of any in the kingdom’.
It is likely that Jane Austen visited these, using them as part of the novels Northanger Abbey and Persuasion which were written whilst she was staying in Bath. Charles Dickens also visited the rooms, and mentions them in his book Pickwick Papers. So the rooms are steeped in history and with literary connections.
Now owned by the National Trust, the Assembly Rooms offer 3 function rooms that may be used for civil ceremonies. These are:-
